FAQs
Chiropractic treatment has been in existence
for more than a hundred years. It is safe, effective and used by approximately
4.5 million Canadians every year. Chiropractic is a regulated health
care profession recognized by statute in all Canadian provinces, and
is one of the largest primary contact health care professions in Canada.
Why is Chiropractic important to me?
Your nervous system determines how well you feel physically,
mentally, and emotionally. When your nervous system isn't up to par
because of spinal problems it has to work overtime to compensate. Many
problems you are experiencing may be related to a problem with your
spine and nervous system.
The effect of an overworked or stressed nervous system can be headache,
fatigue, muscle ache and pain, back pain, and a host of other unpleasant
symptoms which can become more serious or lead to more complicated conditions
as time passes.
What can a Chiropractor do for me?
Chiropractors are doctors who are specially trained to assess
disorders related to the spine, nervous system, and joints of the extremities,
and provide diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of these disorders.
Although the major focus of Chiropractic is on the spine and central
nervous system, your chiropractor is concerned with the wellness of your
whole body.
